Brenda Farris, 67, departed this life on February 25, 2020. Brenda was born October 13, 1952 to the late, William Grey and Pearl Grey (biological parents), Samuel K. Long and Virgie May Long. Brenda attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was goofy and fun to be around. Brenda loved family and would go out her way just to see them happy.
Brenda was predeceased by her brother, Milton Earl Knight, Sr. and great-granddaughter, Kamaia Brown. Brenda leaves to cherish her memories; husband, James Author Farris, Sr.; two sons, Aubrey Antonio Gray and James Author Farris, Jr.; one step-son, William Floyd (AKA Lil Billie); three sisters, Deborah Long, Jacqueline Farris and Sheila Johnson; two brothers, Larry Knight and Tyrone Long; two granddaughters, Chava Cousins and Makayla Silver; six great-grandchildren, Jayveon Smith, Tayveon Smith, Richard Brown, Richelle Brown and Hyssan Cousins; one aunt, Maggie Beslow and host of niece and nephews.
Brenda will truly be missed.
