Bobbie Welch, son of the late Earl and Mildred Welch was born on December 20, 1946 in Norfolk Virginia. He accepted
Christ during his illness. Bobbie was resident of Holy Hill Community where he was a Landscaper and Handy Man; where he helped his neighbor in whatever capacity he could with a ready smile. He was much loved by the neighbor and friends of Holy Hill Community.

He was an avid Chess Player; enjoyed playing Chess with his brother Ricky and friends. Bobbi was predeceased by his father Earl J. Welch, mother Mildred Prince Welch, two brothers, Darnell Welch and Lorenzo Welch. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, four brother Earl Welch, Jr., (Edith) of Norfolk, VA Van Prince Welch of Norfolk, VA, Donnie Welch (Faye) of Portsmouth, VA, and Ricky R. Welch of Portsmouth, VA; five sisters Wilbertine Jefferson of Norfolk, VA, Velma L. Brown (Ernest) of Virginia Beach, VA; Barbara Jones (Twin) of Portsmouth, VA; Mildred Poole (Harry) of Greensboro, NC; Gail Stone of Norfolk, VA and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
