Betty Boone Lee was born on December 1, 1950 in Newsoms, VA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ulysses Boone. Betty went peacefully to her Heavenly Father on January 14, 2021.
Her Father spoke to her, “Your work is done”, I say to you, “job well done.” I have prepared a place for you. Your life I gave to you have done its best, now I call for you to come rest. Leave behind all your heavy burdens, I your father, called for you. I sent my angels to quiet the pain, the hurt and suffering that you were enduring. Have no concerns for your loved ones. They will understand if they believe in me. I gave them my word “Joy will come in the morning and they will rejoice. As your body drifts into heaven I will give you a new and everlasting life. You will stand before me and I will place your crown upon your head that will be filled with jewels. This is your rewards for your works done on earth. Well done my faithful and humble servant. You will leave behind all your worldly possessions and memories of you. I watched over you and allowed you to posses all I wanted you to have. I watched you witness to the unbelievers to have life for eternity. You’ve done all that was required. Come rest your head upon me.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories her son, Antwaun Lee; daughter, Jaquay Lee Bailey (widowed); grandchildren, Latasha Carter, Antwaun Carter (deceased), Alexis Lee, Twaun Lee, Nakeira Lee and Nasir Lee.
Betty was the youngest of five siblings, which she loved unconditionally, Lillie W. Grace Sweat (deceased), Dr. Barbara Boone Wooten, Tillie Boone Reid, Paige Boone Joyner and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and special friends dearest to her heart.
