Benjamin Monroe Clements entered into eternal rest on August 9, 2018. He was born to the late Arthur and Gertrude Clements on June 7, 1937 in Brunswick County, VA. At an early age, he joined and was baptized at Good Hope Baptist Church in hometown. Ben was an outdoors man and his favorite pastimes were gardening, fishing, and hunting game. He taught his children the value of education and hard work.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Shirley Clements of 58 years; three sons, Wayne Little (Cynthia), Benjamin Clements (Marcinda), and Calvin Clements (Eunice); two daughters, Debra Griffin (Johnny) and Deloris Wilson (Dwayne); grandchildren, Derio Little, Qiana Alfonso, Benjamin “Benji” Clements, Sheronica Ford, Jason Clements, Ashlie Wilson, Avery Wilson, Rica Clements, Jonathan Griffin, and Benicia Clements; extended grandchildren, Marlaina Pereia (Luis) and Dustin Caetano; six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sisters, Louise Hood (Norman), Mary Billups, and Anne Burgess (Greg); brothers, Richard Clements (Alice) and Curtis Clements, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
