Barbara R. Marshall gained her wings, July 18, 2021. She was born November 20, 1938 in Edenton, North Carolina to the late Herbert Hassell and Gertrude Barrington. Barbara was a well-known resident in the Oakwood section of Norfolk for over fifty years.

Left to cherish her precious memories is her son, Johnny Marshall III; daughters, Robin Marshall, Windie Combs (Robert) Veronica Washington (James); sisters, Diane Reid, Judy Eure, Audrey Crespo, Cassandra Wellons; brothers, Walter Barrington, Robert Barrington’ thirteen grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, and three great- great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
