On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Avery Adrian Anderson was called home to rest. He was born February 27, 1961, in Texas to Clarence and Clara Anderson.
Avery loved to travel and had a chance to thanks to his career at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He retired from his career at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in 2021 with 41 years of service. He was a father, husband, brother, cousin, and uncle. He will truly be missed. Avery was known as “FOOTS” among family and friends.
Avery was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara Anderson, brother Bernard Bond, and special friend Patricia Vincent.
Avery leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Adrian Anderson, and Brian Vincent; two daughters, Ashley Anderson, and Rebekah Miles; one brother Harvey Anderson; one sister Dorothy Anderson Huff, and a host of relatives and friends.
