Arlene Neal was born on November 4, 1928 in North Carolina to the late Atlas and Ruby Jones. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Neal and six sisters and two brothers. Arlene worked at Doumar’s Cones and Barbeque for 52 years. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Chesapeake, VA. Left to cherish her precious memories are her children, James Johnson (Leola), Willie Jones, Vernice Lynn, Barbara Jones, Velma McDonald (Melvin), Teresa Thorton (Derek), Patricia Gordon (Lewis) and Rodney
Neal; siblings, Lenese Russel (Hardy) and Paul Jones; 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was known as Mom by everyone who knew her. She will be missed by All.
