Meisha and family, you have my deepest sympathy, my sincerest condolences and my fervent prayers. I remember meeting Art for the first time back in 2004. There were three of us initial students in a Chicago Steppin class. Not just the Virginia Steppin community but the world will not be the same ever again without Art. Knowing Art over the years has been everlasting. He was such a great guy and he touched so many lives. He will surely be missed.

Art was such a kind and cheerful man. His love for his family was obvious. We was loved and will be dearly missing by all that knew him.

My sincere condolences to the family. The bible says at Deut. 32:7 Remember the days of old. It is my hope that you find comfort in your lasting memories. It is never easy losing a loved one but God at Deut. 4:7 entreats us to reach out to him for it says Jehovah God is near to us whenever we call. I pray that the family finds true comfort.
