Antonio T. Nixon

Sunrise: February 24, 1980

Sunset: June 4, 2025

Our beloved Antonio “Tone” Nixon passed on June 4, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia.  The hearts of Priscilla Nixon and Jesse Carter were overjoyed to welcome Priscilla’s first born Antonio Trenton Nixon, to the world on February 24, 1980. Tone attended Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, Virginia & was employed with At Ease Moving LLC. In Richmond, Virginia, his love for video games early in life sparked an imagination that turned to a passion to become an author of multiple books.

Antonio’s pride and joy remained his family. He was predeceased by his loving mother Priscilla Lee Nixon and leaves to cherish his life and legacy his father Jesse Carter; Aunt Barbara, Aunt Brenda, and Uncle Christopher Nixon; Brother Corey (Shavonne) Nixon, children Isyss, Sandra (USNE3), Jaz’myne (ArmyE3), Quintrell Weston, and Catelayah Nixon along with a host of family, friends and loved ones.

Tone lived the best parts of his life loving hard as the “gentle giant” we all knew and loved. Our Lord and Savior said to him, according to Matthew 25:21, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

I am so sorry for your family’s loss. Loving a child is one of the toughest things to do…I’ve lost 2. I find comfort and hope from the Bible at Revelation 21:4 – “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” and John 5: 28 -29: “Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”
    Your family has my sympathy.
