Annie Lee Lewis

Annie Lewis was called to eternal rest on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Pervy Lee Jones. She accepted Christ early in life and was a faithful member of New Saint John A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, were she served on the Stewardess Board for many years. She attended school in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and was a graduate of Keys Business College, where she received an associate degree in clerical administration. She was employed by the Norfolk Health Department for over 21 years.

She married the late Rudolph A. Lewis, Sr. and from this union they were blessed with five children. She is predeceased by her oldest daughter, Pervy L. Broady, brothers, Melvin Jones “Bo”, Norman Fuller, Charlie Fuller, Walter Fuller and Benjamin Fuller, by her sisters, Annie Mae McCoy. Flora Jackson, Minnie Waller and Alrean Thompkins. To cherish her memory she is survived by her sis Julia Dildy and her four children, Mayrilyn Riddick (Rodger), Sandra White (John), Beverly Albritton, Rudolph A Lewis, Jr. (Lynn) and thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Mrs. Lewis was a strong woman, a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her… for on  September 5th she made her final step to Jesus.
