On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, God whispered to Annie Simpson that it was time to come home to be with him. Annie smiled and took his hand. Annie was born to the late Kate Simpson of Norfolk, Virginia and the late George C. Simpson of North Carolina. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Kate and George Simpson, and a brother, Clifton Simpson. Annie leaves to cherish fond memories, her children, Charles Simpson (Barbara) and Shirley Houston, five grandchildren, Shaun Simpson, Chanel Jackson, Charles Simpson Jr., Kayla Simpson, Sherry Stephens, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of great, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
