Annie C. Dunbar

Mrs. Annie Corbett Dunbar, age 70, went to her heavenly home on, Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was born on August 4, 1949 to Margaret Young and Jasper Corbett in Portsmouth, VA. She worked as a CNA for many years in the area of nursing and in home care. She was also a cosmetologist and previously loved doing hair. Annie loved the Lord and was a light to the family. She was a loveable, passionate women of God with a big smile and heart, who loved her kids and grandchildren, brothers, sisters, friends and family dearly. She enjoyed
serving the Lord and going to church with her family. She always told the family “put God first in all you do and always pray.” Annie also enjoyed raising her grandkids, nieces, nephews, taking trips, cooking and shopping.

Annie is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Jasper Corbett; one grandson, Prince Davis; three sisters, Margaleen Taylor, Shirley Tate, Johnnie Mae Long, Darlene Corbett and three brothers. Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Daryl Corbett (Aretha), Robert Davis (Veneica); two daughters, Anita Corbett (Brian) and Annette Davis (Linwood). She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and one special friend, Michelle Riddick.
