Our dear mother, sister, daughter, auntie, friend and dearly loved Angela R. Foreman was born in Chesapeake, VA on December 28, 1955, to Dorothy Williams and Dennis Hodnett. She was called home at the age of 67 on May 22, 2023.
She was affectionately known by family and friends as “Angie” or “Ann”. She was most recently a member of the Point Harbor Church. Our dear Ann was an extremely hard worker who spent nearly 36 years at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. She never met a job she couldn’t tackle and would never be outdone. Ann was known for her warm smile, her fearlessness and her generosity. If you knew Ann, then you know she was an avid Steelers and Eagles fan. You never knew where you’d find her, she loved her “bike” and to travel and was always on the move.
Ann was predeceased by her father, Erwin V. Williams Jr.; brother, Erwin V. Williams III; and grandmother, Essie Lee Reid.
To cherish her loving memory, she leaves her dear children (with her former husband, Elvin D. Foreman Sr.): Elvin D. Foreman, Jr. (Sharon), TaShana Marinas (Amante); mother: Dorothy Williams; sisters: Valerie Butts (Sherman), Rosalind Johnson (Robert), Trina Norfleet and Tracy Williams; grandchildren: Amante, Nadia, Shantae, and Crystal; and aunts: Cecelia Reid and Henrietta Williams.
Ann also leaves behind her dearest friend of over 20 years, David Elion and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that will cherish the time and memories spent with her.
