Andrew J. Outland 83, effectionally known as “Bobby” transitioned on September 8, 2020 at Maryview Medical Hospital in Portsmouth, VA. Andrew was born on November 22, 1935 in Nansemond County, VA (Suffolk) to the late George Linwood and Blanch Outland of Suffolk, VA. The family’s church home is Gethsemane Baptist Church.
Andrew worked for Artray Corporation of Suffolk, VA as a Truck Driver, till his retirement. His hobbies were gardening and listing to the Canton Spirituals. He also loved a cold coke and donuts. Andrew was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Mae; mother and father, two brothers, George Linwood Outland, Jr. (Billy) and Leroy Outland; two sisters, Alvertia Nichols and Barbar Outland.
Andrew leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Richard Outland (Ella); caregiver, Carolyn Eley (Stanley); niece, Rhode Outland; nephew, Darrick Outland and two very special great nieces, Claire Eley and London Outland.
