Alvis Aaron Lee Reid entered into internal rest on June 15, 2025. He was born on June 4, 1986, in Nansemond County, Suffolk, Virginia, to his father, Alvis Oscar Lee Reid, and his mother, the late Tammie Ellen Reid.
Alvis attended Lakeland High School. He was employed at the Lipton tea company before his health declined. He was also the proud owner of Aaron‘s Fair Repair, LLC.
Alvis’s greatest joy was his children, and he was a great Son to his father. Alvis had a passion for fishing. He also enjoyed working on cars. He had a heart full of love for Jehovah and his community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom. He was full of compassion and love.
He now rests in eternal peace with his mother, Tammie Ellen Reid, his grandparents, Susie Mizell Reid and George Lee Reid, Robert Earl Coles Jr., and Juanita Marie Coles.
Left to cherish his memories are his children, Lazaria Britt, Aareona Reid, Uriah Reid, Nevin Reid, also a special friend, Shanelle Jennings. He is also remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alvis Aaron Lee Reid’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, service, and joy. Although his physical presence will be missed beyond measure, his spirit will continue to guide, comfort, and inspire all who knew and loved him.
Rest well, Alvis, your race is finished, and your love is everlasting.
