Allen C. Smith peacefully departed his life and entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born July 9, 1964, to Helen Wescott-Smith and the late William L. Smith, Jr.

Allen was a believer in God Almighty and found Christ at an early age. He was a member of ILA Local 1248 and was a dedicated worker. He retired after 26 years of service.  He was an adamant football fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He had a passion for tennis and enjoyed golf, bowling, and playing pool. He loved making people laugh and had an infectious personality.

He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Smith, Jr.; a nephew, Dario Dick; and uncle, Roger Smith.

Allen leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Rita L. Hinton; daughter, Jazymne Smith and son, Allen Smith; mother, Helen J. Smith; aunt, Mildred Cooper; siblings, Joy D. Wiggins, William L. Smith, III (Kia), Pastor Gail R. McPherson (Linwood), Mildred A. Delk (William), and Juanita F. Smith-Simmons (Johnnie); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a great-great niece, cousins, and other family, friends, and relatives.
