Sunrise: February 15, 1941

Sunset: July 4, 2020

Alice Teresa Mundy-Robins was born February 15, 1941 to the late Chester Mundy and Anna Stevens Mundy. She attended Antioch Elementary School and Bryan High School in Yellow Springs, Ohio. She worked as an Emergency Nurse in Detroit, MI for over 15 years and eventually retired as an Elementary School Teacher Assistant for the Detroit Public School System before relocating to Chesapeake, VA with her son and daughter several years later. She had been a member of Holy Temple Ministries, where she served diligently as a Missionary and ordained Evangelist under Pastor James D. Brinkley, Jr. before making Greenbrier Regional Medical Center her home. Alice is preceded in death by her parents. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Teresa Ann Evans, Patricia L. Taylor, Tonya M. Jones (Everette), David A. Mundy, Charles E. Mundy (Tysha), and Edward E. Mundy; brother, Donald Mundy (Ruby); sisters Nancy F. Mundy and Michael Ann Banks. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. -1 Thessalonians 4:14-17
