Paula Logan Holley & Shirley M. Logan says

    To the family,

The psalmist wrote of God, “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.”—Ps 34:18, 19
He also wrote that ,“He heals the brokenhearted; he binds up their wounds.” (Ps. 147:3)

I can’t say that I know how you feel, but I can offer prayer in your behalf. May you find comfort in knowing that Alan is safe in the memory of Jehovah, who will remember every detail about him and bring him back again.

Until that time, trust in Jehovah as Alan did, for he is eager to comfort us and soothe our emotional wounds. With our deepest sympathy.

    Your Sister,
    Paula Logan Holley

It’s so true – “Don’t put off what you want to do today – because we may not have the chance to do it”….We had plans to have a nice gathering with all the card players in the area – now we have to wait till the Paradise on earth to play again with Alan:), but we have such faith in the resurrection hope Jesus promised, that we will see him again! (Act 24:15)
Alan was a faithful brother and friend to many, years ago we met at Plaza Apts., where he walked around and talked to his grandson Prentice, whom he loved so much.
On hearing of his passing, I learned he would share the daily text and words of encouragement with friends, to help make their day with kind comments.
May the family have comfort and peace as you hold on to your many precious memories.
    You’re in our prayers,
    Anita & Norm
