Abdul Shaahid Azaudin Muhammhad was born Curtis “Curt” Copeland, Sr. on February 24, 1973 in Paquotank County, Elizabeth City. North Carolina. He gained his wings on October 26, 2021, as he went to join his Lord and Savior. Curt was the backbone of his family; someone you could always count on for anything. Curt was a loving and devoted husband, father, godfather, grand godfather, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. If anybody knew him then you knew he loved to fix and repair things especially bikes. Curt was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Knicks. He is truly loved and will be greatly missed by all. Curtis was predeceased by his Aunt/Mom Shirley Brooks, nephew Redidyo Arrington, and his best friend Santonio Wesby. Curtis Leaves to cherish wonderful memories with his loving wife Alfreda Thomas, two daughters Curtlyn Copeland, and Ariana Thomas. Two sons Curtis E. Copeland Jr. and Kenneth Woolbright Jr. Three Godchildren Arianna Christian, Marcus Gunter, and Lamontae Walls, Jr. Mother, Noami Copeland, Father Theodore Lee Sr. Father figures, Ralph Brooks and James Cornish (Jimmy). Grandmother Vivian Lee; two brothers, Ruffus “Man” Arrington (Madelaine “M”) and Theodore Lee, Jr. (Janae); three sisters, Valorie Arrington, Tamika Lee, and Shirley Spivey (Keshia); special aunt, niece, nephew and cousin, Vicki Payton, Latoria Arrington (Toya), Jayvion Arrington and Daniel Skinner (Boo Boo). Curtis also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish him for life.
